Filling out the Canadian government’s Access to Information and Privacy request (ATIP) contact form sucks (be it through the old portal or the new one), especially if you’re filing several requests. This bookmarklet makes the process slightly easier by pre-filling out all those fields.

Note: This form assumes you live in Canada and are requesting the records on your own behalf. If you are requesting records from IRCC using the old portal, the tool will set your preferred delivery method to e-mail.
